:smallsigh:ģrd attempt: Basically having learned what NOT to do when fighting the eye, I restocked on arrows, made another Suspicious Eye, and made sure I didn't have the Eye already spawning that night before using it. The Eyes and their servants made sure that I wasn't going back up. My second mistake was get off of the arena I had built so I can restock on shurikens and arrows. However, came night I made my first mistake: I used the suspicious eye (which summons the Eye of Cthulhu) when I got too impatient AFTER I got the message "You feel an evil presence watching you." () So then I had to fight TWO eyes at the same time. Somewhat fortunate for me is that my castle has wooden planks in areas for easy access to NPCs, so I could use it as a makeshift arena.Ģnd attempt: After dying the first time, I figured that I need to prepare for the next round by making an arena out of wooden planks and placed it several feet above my castle. I rarely get games day one anyways, so by the time I do get the game. If you do own your own router, connecting to router is usually reserved on 192.168.0.0 or 192.168.0.1 on most routers commonly found in North America (e.g. :smallfurious: then again, that's probably for the best at my school. Not everyone has access to their own router either. Trying to decide whether I want to go the full Apache route. Yeah I'm experimenting with my own server box running off my old Macbook. At least, what I could tell two months ago. There is not, there is no dedicated server that anyone can get to work, from what I can tell. The official guides have the advantage of coming out at release day and having much better maps and diagrams than any other format.
They are only outmatched by wikis well after the game has come out and everyone has explores everything. :smallconfused:Īs the owner of several (paper) copies of Prima Official Strategy Guides, they are very much worth it. I mean, all of the stuff is usually found online already, sometimes in a better format or prose. I never really understood why someone would buy the guide though.
To put it simply: Everyones router is different, half of them don't work properly anyways, and half the people involved don't even know how to get the ip of their router. Don't you wish it was that simple for everyone. Punch in your IP into the address bar, check the ports menu, forward Terraria to port 7777, and there you go. Here's the easy part about port forwarding. Maybe when I have the windows server box we are planning up.
